Harte Interesting Trio - Ipswich Town News

Reported Town target Ian Harte is claimed to be interesting Leicester City, Swansea and Watford. The Irish international, 30, was released by Sunderland at the end of the season.

The Blues were recently said to be in talks with the former Leeds and Levante man regarding a Bosman move to Portman Road.

Elsewhere, Nottingham Forest are believed to be ready to make a move for another player reported to be interesting Town, Coventry striker Leon Best.

Forest made various offers of up to £1 million for Best in January, but the Sky Blues refused to sell. However, having been promoted to the Championship in the intervening months, Colin Calderwood's club are set to try again.

The Tricky Trees have already secured young Liverpool winger Paul Anderson on loan, Town having been amongst a host of Championship clubs claimed to be interested in the 19-year-old.
