Town to Face Chelmsford - Ipswich Town News
Chelmsford City have announced a pre-season friendly with the Blues at Melbourne Park on Wednesday 16th July (KO 7.45pm). The game falls between the matches in Belfast against Cliftonville and Donegal Celtic, so it is likely to be a second string Town side in action.
The teams last played a friendly a year ago with the match ending 2-2, Sammy Moore, now with Dover Athletic, grabbing a late equaliser for the Blues, adding to an earlier own goal.
The Blues start their extensive programme of pre-season matches on Wednesday 9th July with a match at Bury Town (KO 7.45pm).
