Green With Town at Loughborough - Ipswich Town News

Former Fulham left-back Adam Green is continuing his trial with the Blues during this week's training camp at Loughborough University. TWTD was first to report that Green was on trial with the Blues earlier today.

Green could even play a part in Town's friendly with the English Universities team at Loughborough on Friday. The 23-year-old, who was highly rated as a youngster at Craven Cottage, was out of contract at Woking at the end of the season and is available on a free transfer.

Boss Jim Magilton says the squad will be ready for their more serious pre-season games after their week at the university: "My players will be set up and ready to go on to the next stage of pre-season development.

"We have competitive matches starting next week and will build-up until we meet West Brom and then West Ham when I will be looking to field full strength sides.

"In some matches we will have a lot of possession and in others we won't. We can learn from both experiences - as we are in Loughborough this week.”
