Kiwomya Leaves Arsenal to be New Coach - Ipswich Town News
Chris Kiwomya has to returned to Portman Road as the new Reserve Team Development Coach, leaving his position at the Arsenal Academy to take up the role.
John McGreal was reported to be taking up the position but fellow former Blue Chris has taken the similar role recently vacated by Steve Greaves.
"I am delighted to welcome Chris back to Portman Road as part of our coaching set-up," Town boss Jim Magilton told the Club website.
"He was a player here for many years and knows what this Football Club is all about and it's clear that Ipswich Town still means a lot to him.
"He has worked at Arsenal, which is a good name to have on your CV, and I know he has ideas he has inherited from there.
"The fact that he has left Arsenal to come here shows how important this Club is to him and how much he wants to play a part in moving us forward."
