Axeldaltastic! - Ipswich Town News
Town's Swedish striker Jonas Axeldal put his name in the frame for inclusion against QPR a week on Saturday with a hat-trick for Town reserves at Layer Road, Colchester this afternoon. Town's second string ran out 5-1 winners with the other goals coming from Marco Holster and Sean Friars.
There has been further speculation that Richard Wright might start Sunday's England international against Belgium. If he does get a cap he'll be the first Town player to play for England since Terry Butcher.
