1200 Extra Seats for Coventry - Ipswich Town News

Town have an extra 1200 seats available for Saturday's game with Coventry. 900 of these are more seats in the upper tier of the South Stand which have undergone a safety inspection late this afternoon. The other 300 are returns from Coventry in E Block of the Cobbold Stand.

These are available for purchase by members of the club’s ticket ballot who haven't already acquired seats for the game. Each member can buy one ticket either by phone or in person. Tickets are available by phone from 8am tomorrow via the usual number: 0845 6050129. From 8.30am tomorrow fans can buy tickets in person from the main Ticket Office.

Tickets cost from £19 to £28 for adults, £8 children and £13-£17 for concessions. The failure to put these tickets in the ballot proper is down to the lateness with which safety certificates were issued.

Richard Powell, the club's Customer Service Manager said: "We recognise the very short notice however these additions were subject to a safety team inspection this afternoon. We have asked our professional call centre to manage the telephone ticket sales, clearly though, if 500 supporters call at the same time they will not all get through but we ask them to keep trying and be patient. These tickets will be sold on a first come, first serviced basis."

He continued: "Due to the ticket sales short period we are unable to post tickets and ask supporters to collect them on either Friday 20th April in the afternoon from the main Ticket Office or on Saturday 21st April from 11am from the main Ticket Collection Point on the corner of the North Stand and the Cobbold Stand."
