Jentzsch and Agent Part Company - Ipswich Town News

Wolfsburg keeper and Town target Simon Jentzsch is without an agent this morning after his representative Rudi Assauer ended his relationship with the player.

Assauer is reported to have terminated his contract with Jentzsch due to the keeper's refusal of a number of possible transfer opportunities, including Town and Turkish sides Trabzonspor and Antalyaspor.

Jentzsch is on a very lucrative contract until 2011 with Wolfsburg and the suspicion is that the 32-year-old is unwilling to move on and receive reduced terms elsewhere. SPL side Motherwell are the latest side to be mentioned in connection with a move for the stopper, who fell out with manager Felix Magath last season.

The former German U21 international was linked with the Blues over the weekend with Town's move for Richard Wright appearing to have stalled. However, according to reports yesterday, the former England man's return to Portman Road looks likely to be completed within the next 10 days.
