Honduran Due Today - Ipswich Town News
Honduran international trialist Emilio Izaguirre is due to arrive in the UK today for a belated start to his spell with the Blues. The 22-year-old had been expected to fly from Central America on Friday but missed his flight due to a mix-up regarding tickets.
Izaguirre plays for Club Deportivo Motagua in his home country and has won 20 caps with his full national side. In 2005 Izaguirre was part of the Honduran U20 team which took part in the FIFA World Youth Championships in Holland.
The left-sided defender or midfielder is confident he has what it takes to win a deal with the Blues: "I know that I am going to pass the test. I have a great deal of confidence that I will play in English soccer.â€Â
