Supple Fine to Face Donegal Celtic - Ipswich Town News

Keeper Shane Supple has been passed fit for tonight's friendly with Donegal Celtic. The Irishman, the only goalkeeper on the Belfast tour, had been suffering with a stomach virus over the last couple of days.

Jon Walters is also over the bug having missed the 7-0 victory over Cliftonville on Monday, however, Tommy Miller has been struck down and is out of contention for this evening's match.

Walters starts up front alongside Alan Lee, ahead of a midfield made up of Danny Haynes, Velice Sumulikoski, Owen Garvan and Gary Roberts. Jaime Peters is again used at right-back with trialist Ben Thatcher on the left and Pim Balkestein and Gareth McAuley at the centre of the defence.

Town will be looking for another big win against a side which finished last season 11th in the Irish Premier League, eight places and 34 points behind Clinftonville, who proved little opposition for the Blues earlier in the week.
