Rhodes Set for Northampton Loan - Ipswich Town News
Town striker Jordan Rhodes could join Northampton Town on loan later in the transfer window, according to reports this morning. The Blues are believed to be keen to find the 18-year-old a temporary club as he progresses his way towards the Town first team.
Last season, Rhodes, who signed a new deal aimed at keeping him with the Blues until 2011 earlier in the summer, spent time on loan with Blue Square Premier side Oxford United and a switch to a League One club is the next logical step to give the prolific frontman further experience of senior football.
Fellow striker Dean Bowditch spent two months with the Cobblers last season.
