Supple: I May Leave - Ipswich Town News

Keeper Shane Supple says Richard Wright's return to the Blues yesterday could mean he leaves Portman Road. Supple has previously been linked with a return to Falkirk where he spent the second half of the season on loan.

The Irishman said: "I don't want to leave Ipswich, but I'm 21 and I need to be playing games. It comes down to what the manager decides so we will probably sit down and have a chat.”

Supple says that if he stays with Town he will give Wright a battle for the number one shirt: "He won't be getting an easy ride. I will make him work hard for his place.”

Meanwhile, striker Alan Lee has yet again reiterated his desire to remain with the Blues in the wake of Kevin Lisbie's signing and yesterday's links with Huddersfield: "Whenever I hear talk like that I take it as a compliment, but I'm very happy at Ipswich and have no desire to leave.”

Lee is keen to form a new partnership with former Colchester and Charlton man Lisbie.
