Jim Could Target Fulham's Healy Again - Ipswich Town News

Boss Jim Magilton says he could still target Northern Ireland and Fulham frontman David Healy if he became available. The Town manager is a huge admirer of Healy, who he tried to bring on loan to Portman Road last season.

Magilton said: "I have been linked with him a few times over a period of time and I have never made any secret of my admiration of him â€" why would I?

"He hasn't transferred his international form to club level though and scoring goals for Northern Ireland shouldn't be enough for him.

"David is good enough and should want to score goals in the Premier League, but it's up to him to do that.

"I would love him to be a big success in the Premier League, but if he isn't and he is made available by Fulham, then I would be crazy if I wasn't interested in bringing him to Ipswich.”
