Season Ticket Sales Up - Ipswich Town News

Town's season ticket sales are up on this time last season. The Blues have so far sold 14,930 compared with 13,946 a year ago.

Season tickets started arriving on fans' doorsteps last week with the last few likely to arrive in the first week of August ahead of the opening game with Preston on August 9th.

For the first time supporters are being asked to keep their season tickets for use again next year as part of Town's "continuing programme to reduce the carbon footprint of the club."

Meanwhile, chairman David Sheepshanks, who recently stepped into an unpaid non-executive role, says fans can expect a return to success in the years to come: "The club's owner and manager have my full backing and I am convinced that our unique football club is on the brink of great things.

"In chief executive Derek Bowden and manager Jim Magilton there is a great deal of talent at the top.

"My love for the club has not decreased and I will continue to give my full backing and fulfil my Ipswich duties with pride.”
