Fab Set for Grays Move - Ipswich Town News
Released Town defender Fabian Wilnis looks set to join Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic on a one-year deal. Wilnis, 37, ended his nine-year stay at Portman Road at the end of last season but vowed to keep on playing.
The Dutchman, who will still live in Ipswich and who has been awarded a testimonial game next summer, played in a friendly against Gillingham on Saturday at centre-half and is expected to be offered a contract after impressing the Grays management.
Wilnis had previously been training with Needham Market and recently played a friendly for Bury Town.
