Mogga Not Too Unhappy With Defeat - Ipswich Town News

West Brom boss Tony Mowbray wasn't too disappointed to see his side lose 2-1 to the Blues at Portman Road on Saturday. The former Town skipper felt his team dominated the first half in particular and Ishmael Miller should have scored more than his single goal.

Mowbray said: "Ishmael has great attributes. He is strong, powerful, has a wonderful left foot and knows where the goal.

"He will get every opportunity to see if he can score goals in the Premier League.

"He's got great attributes and belief in himself. He wants to play every week and I'm sure he's looking forward to the new season because he wants to test himself.

"Ishmael's goal today was a great strike but it wasn't his best chance. It was an opportunist strike but the two he had one-on-one with the keeper, Richard Wright made good saves.

"They were better chances but fell to his right foot. His right side is a part of his game he's got to develop. We'll continually work on it.

"We were pretty fluent in the first half, dominating for long spells. The longer the game went on, we became poorer and Ipswich got stronger. I've got no qualms about them scoring late on because they probably deserved it.”
