Trio to Miss Brighton Trip - Ipswich Town News
Town will be without Pablo Couñago, Pim Balkestein and Jon Walters when they travel to Brighton for tonight's friendly at the Withdean Stadium (KO 7.45pm).
Balkestein and Couñago have picked up knocks, while Waters is on compassionate leave as his wife Joanna is still to give birth to their second child.
Town are expected to field a strong side against the League One club with a reserve side in action at Braintree tomorrow.
Brighton are likely to include Town's Matt Richards in their side, the former England U21 having joined the Seagulls on loan for the first half of the season. Nicky Forster is also a regular for Albion.
Fans should note that tonight's match is all-ticket, full details on the club site.
