HossamLudvigsen Links - Ipswich Town News

Town are being linked with a chase for Egyptian wonderkid, and long-term Southampton target, Ahmed Hossam. The 18-year-old is unlikely to be able to get a work permit for another year, however, this hasn't stopped the speculation.

The youngster will need another year to fulfil the 75% of international games required to get a permit. When he does it seems Arsenal and Hertha Berlin will also be after his signature. Despite this handicap he is said to be making his decision this summer. Hertha might have the advantage as their permit laws aren't as strict as ours.

Slightly more plausible is a report that Town European Scout Simon Hunt has been watching Trond Frederik Ludvigsen, a 19-year-old attacker from Bodø/Glimt in Norway. He has made 43 full appearances for his side and played both games so far this season and has scored one goal.
