Third Cap for Wickham? - Ipswich Town News

Academy striker Connor Wickham could win his third England U17 cap later today when his side take on Norway in Strömstad, Sweden in the Nordic Tournament. Wickham scored the winner in the 1-0 victory over Iceland in Tuesday.

Wickham, 15, started that game, having come on as a sub in Monday's match against Finland, which England also won 1-0.

Meanwhile, Town's U17s are in fifth/sixth play-off action against Shamrock Rovers in the BT Northern Ireland Trophy this afternoon. The Blues went out of the Milk Cup at the group stage and went into the BT competition for eliminated sides, but lost 2-1 to the English Colleges FA in their quarter-final yesterday.
