U15s Lose Opener at Galway Cup - Ipswich Town News
Town‘s U15s fell to a 2-1 defeat against a Republic of Ireland Development Squad in their first game at the Galway Cup this evening.
The young Blues continue their campaign with group matches against Newcastle on Wednesday, Donegal District League on Thursday and Leeds on Friday, before the semi-finals and final on Saturday.
Tonight's game was played at Eircom League side Galway United's Terryland Park with the rest of the competition at the home of Salthill Devon, now a top youth football club and where Alan Lee's father Harry was once a player.
