TWTD understands that Preston North End and Southend United are keeping an eye on out-of-favour Town full-back Dan Harding. The left-sided defender was in action for the Blues at AFC Sudbury this evening.
Harding started the game in an unfamiliar central defensive role, but switched to his more usual left-back role later in the first half. The Shrimpers sent a representative to watch the former Brighton and Leeds man in action at King's Marsh, but Preston looks a more likely destination for the 24-year-old.
Meanwhile, North End have confirmed that former Town keeper-coach Andy Rhodes has joined their staff, as reported by TWTD on Monday.
