Harding Can Join Southend on Loan - Ipswich Town News
Dan Harding can join Southend United on loan with a view to a permanent switch, according to reports this morning. On Tuesday, TWTD was first to reveal that the Shrimpers and Preston are interested in the out-of-favour full-back.
Southend sent a representative to watch the 23-year-old at AFC Sudbury on Tuesday evening, having previously failed to sign former Blue Sito and having taken Jamie Clapham, who is currently training with Town, on an unsuccessful trial.
Preston are said to have made an enquiry regarding the former Brighton and Leeds man on the recommendation of ex-Town keeper-coach Andy Rhodes, now on the staff at Deepdale. Harding currently has one or two personal issues which may make a move to the North-West less likely at present.
