No Deal for Izaguirre, No Offer for Armstrong - Ipswich Town News
Boss Jim Magilton has decided not to offer a contract to Honduran international trialist Emilio Izaguirre. The 22-year-old has been with the Blues for the last three weeks.
Magilton told the club site: "I don't think we are going to take it any further. We have had a look at him over the last 10 days and I don't think it's going to happen."
Reports in Honduras last weekend claimed Izaguirre would be offered a deal, however, Magilton was keen to see the Motagua man in action in a game situation before making his final decision.
Magilton has also denied that he has made an offer for Sheffield United full-back Chris Armstrong: "I have heard about the stories but we have made no offer for the lad."
