Signed 1978 Books On Sale on TWTD Stall - Ipswich Town News

The TWTD stall next to Sir Alf Ramsey's statue will be selling copies of Mel Henderson's book Ipswich Town: The 1978 FA Cup Story signed by the Blues' Wembley goalscorer Roger Osborne ahead of tonight's game with Leyton Orient. The books cost a bargain £15.

Henderson was the club's public relations officer in 1978 and was amongst those sitting on the bench at Wembley, giving him a unique insight into the squad that day and throughout the run to the final.

The book contains details of Town's road to the Twin Towers, which features a round-by-round review and full, detailed biographies of all 12 Wembley heroes, as well as exclusive interviews giving a view from inside the dressing room.

You can also still buy the book online here.
