Clapham Unhappy - Ipswich Town News

Jamie Clapham has said he has hit the lowest point of his Town career after losing his place in the first team and dropping to the reserves. At the beginning of the season there was much talk of him as a possible England international, but things are now very different.

The ex-Spurs reserve said: "I'm not playing regularly anymore. After being a regular since coming here from Spurs I have hardly played a full game since Christmas. Ten minutes here or there is not really good enough, but I have to do what I can do to regain my place."

However, he enjoyed last night's reserve game: "It was enjoyable and important for me to play. It was good to see the youngsters close up and as a senior player we try to help them through, which is what we have tried to do. As a senior player going back into the reserves it is important to have a good attitude and I believe myself, Richard and Fabian showed that."

Town have confirmed that the Ticket Office will be open from 8.30am on May 7th for sales of Derby tickets to Portman Plus Gold holders. Due to the 7th being a Bank Holiday the opening time had been questioned by some fans. The booking phoneline will be open from 8.30am to 12.00am.

Speaking to TWTD Richard Powell, the club's Customer Service Manager said: "From a customer service point of view we felt that this was the

the right and proper thing to do."

Town also confirmed that they had taken the full allocation of tickets offered by the Rams, 3,186.
