No Stoke Move for Walters - Reports - Ipswich Town News
Stoke City will not be making a move for Town's Jon Walters, according to reports in the Potteries this evening. The newly-promoted Premier League side have long been linked with the Blues Player of the Year.
Earlier in the week, Jim Magilton called on the Potters to firm up their interest, but according to BBC Radio Stoke no offer will be forthcoming.
Walters is believed to have requested a move away from the Blues in order to move closer to his and his wife's families in the North-West. Town are understood to want receive a bid of £3 million to even consider allowing the 24-year-old to move on.
