Wright Back in Light Training - Ipswich Town News
Full-back David Wright is back in light training after suffering an ankle ligament injury during last week's opening game of the season at home to Preston. Town's targeting of another right-back, Fulham's Moritz Volz, had led to fears that Wright's problem could sideline him for some while.
However, physio Matt Byard told the club site: "Wrighty returned to jogging yesterday and had no reaction.
"We will be increasing his work load over the next few days and will continue to monitor his progress."
Town agreed a fee believed to be in the region of £300,000 for Volz, who is understood to have begun talks with the Blues on Monday.
