Thatcher Suspended Ban Set to End - Ipswich Town News
Ben Thatcher's suspended 15-game ban effectively comes to an end after today's home game with Wolves. Thatcher was handed the sanction along with an eight-game suspension for his challenge on Pedro Mendes when a Manchester City player.
At an FA hearing on September 12th 2006, Thatcher was handed the suspended ban which would come into force if the full-back was "found guilty of another serious proved case under FA rules within the next two years [from August 26th 2006]â€Â.
Thatcher is set to make his home debut for the Blues in today's game against Wolves, one of the clubs where he spent time on trial this summer.
