Striker Billy Clarke made his fourth appearance for loan club Darlington but failed to add to his one goal as the Quakers lost 2-1 at Gillingham on Saturday afternoon.
Town's two other on-loan players, Dan Harding and Matt Richards, faced one another for Southend and Brighton respectively as the Seagulls defeated the Shrimpers 2-0 on Friday night, Harding picking up his second yellow card in successive games.
