Lambe Wins Cap as Bermuda Thrashed - Ipswich Town News
Academy midfielder Reggie Lambe won his seventh full Bermuda cap overnight as their Digicel Caribbean Cup qualifying campaign got off to a disastrous start with a 4-0 defeat to Antigua and Barbuda in the Cayman Islands.
Lambe started the game but was replaced in the 55th minute having given away a penalty midway through the first half.
The Gombey Warriors face the hosts and St Martin in their other two games, as they look to qualify for second stage of qualifying in the autumn and then the main tournament, which will be held in Jamaica in December.
Elsewhere, Chris Kiwomya and Steve Foley were at last night's West Ham-Macclesfield Carling Cup tie, according to a claim on the TWTD Message Board.
West Ham left winger Kyel Reid is a player the Blues have been watching for some while and could well be someone they are eyeing for the left midfield role.
TWTD understands that Town have scrapped the playing of Chelsea Dagger after goals due to an issue involving performing rights.
