Volz to Swap Folding Bike for Tractor - Ipswich Town News

New Town loan signing Moritz Volz has announced his intention to swap his famous folding bike for a tractor now that he has joined the Blues. The former German U21 international will be with Town on a season-long loan from Fulham.

Volz said in his diary on his incomparable website that he is looking forward to his time with the Blues: "This time it's actually true â€" I've agreed to a year's loan at Ipswich Town.

”I'm really looking forward to competing for first team football at Portman Road and hopefully pushing for a promotion place with what is a very good Championship team.

"I like what I've seen of the club so far and think Ipswich certainly have the potential to be a Premier League club once again.

"They have a good stadium and good facilities, and with the new owners there is a lot of ambition here with regard to trying to achieve that. So I feel I'm in a good place where I can progress my career and improve my football.

"All that remains for me to do is to swap my folding bike for a tractor!”
