Casement Joining Hamilton on Loan - Ipswich Town News
Defender Chris Casement is set to join SPL side Hamilton Academical on loan until January. Casement was in the Town team which beat Colchester in the Carling Cup on Tuesday, but is unlikely to feature too often at Portman Road this season.
Hamilton boss Billy Reid says he initially wanted Casement on a longer term basis: "Chris Casement is a Northern Ireland U21 international and has played around 15 times for the Ipswich first team. We wanted to take him on a permanent move, but they rate him so highly we have only managed a loan deal until January.â€Â
Casement, who signed a new one-year deal with the Blues in the summer, will make the move subject to a medical which is set to take place later today.
