Lee Set to Complete Palace Move - Ipswich Town News

TWTD understands that striker Alan Lee's move to Crystal Palace is back on after stalling yesterday and the Irishman will complete his switch either this evening or over the weekend. The fee is believed to be £600,000 rising to £900,000 on appearances.

Lee was at Palace for talks regarding personal terms and a medical yesterday, but was back at Town this morning, but returned to South London later in the day.

The 30-year-old joined the Blues from Cardiff City in January 2006. Since then he has made 96 starts and 13 sub appearances, scoring 35 goals.

Again further to the Carling Cup draw story, Town's last appearance in round three was actually in 2002/03 when they faced Middlesbrough. Must have missed that somehow.
