Lambe Delighted With Four-Goal Haul - Ipswich Town News
Academy midfielder Reggie Lambe was delighted with his four-goal haul in Bermuda's 7-0 thrashing of St Martin on Saturday, but his side crashed out of the Digicel Cup overnight after drawing 0-0 with hosts the Cayman Islands.
Lambe was overjoyed after his starring performance: "It just feels so good. The coach said to me he wanted me to go out and score and I got four.
"After I got two, I really wanted the match ball so I pushed so hard to get it. I was determined to get the hat-trick.â€Â
Bermuda finished third in the four-team group and Antigua and Barbuda and the Cayman Islands go through to the next round of qualifying for the Digicel Cup, the major tournament for nations in and close to the Caribbean. The finals are in Jamaica in December.
Lambe, 17, has now won nine full international caps and is the first Town player to score four times in a full international.
