No Ventola Deal - Ipswich Town News
Town and Torino have failed to agree a deal which would have seen former Inter striker Nicola Ventola join the Blues, according to reports in Italy this evening.
Ventola, 30, was being chased by Town and Genoa, but the former Italian U21 international is now expected to remain with Il Toro until January.
Earlier today, reports in Turin revealed that the Blues had enquired about Ventola's availability, probably on loan. The Serie A side are currently overstocked with strikers and were keen to remove the former Crystal Palace man from their wage bill.
Elsewhere, former Town defender Scott Mitchell has joined King's Lynn on a five-month loan from Rushden and Diamonds.
