Feyenoord Face Town in Fab's Testimonial - Ipswich Town News

Town will face Feyenoord in Fabian Wilnis's testimonial on July 25th next year. A 45-minute game involving former players from Town and the Dutch giants is planned for after the main match.

Wilnis, who now plays for Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic, told the club site: "The date has still to be finalised but we are almost there. Jim is keen for Feyenoord to come and they are happy to play a full game against Ipswich as part of their own pre-season build up.

"I've already spoken to Kieron Dyer about playing in the second game and I'll be approaching lads like Matt Holland, Titus Bramble and others that I have played alongside in my time at Ipswich.

"I'm also hoping that players like Robin Van Persie, Pierre Van Hooijdonk, Dirk Kuyt, George Boateng and Salomon Kalou will be able to play for Feyenoord."
