Volz Settling in at Town - Ipswich Town News

Loan signing Moritz Volz says he is finding it easy to settle at Portman Road after making his move from Fulham towards the end of the transfer window. The German made his Town debut in the defeat at Watford.

Volz said in his column in The Times: "Once the deal is done, all that is left to face is the first day, which is not unlike any first day at any new job â€" lots of unknowns. Of course, you hold back a bit. You do not want to go bowling in as if you have been there years. You need to get a feel for how things are done, what is appropriate and what is not.

"But it has been an easy transition at Ipswich because it is a very friendly club and I am really enjoying it already. I have just got to get the local press to spell my name right. They are nearer to Germany, so you would think they would know better. There is no "t” in Volz, chaps.”

Volz has joined the Blues on a season-long loan.
