Shumi's Macedonia Lose to Holland - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Veliche Shumulikoski's Macedonia fell to a 2-1 home defeat against Holland in their second World Cup qualifier in Skopje on Wednesday evening. Macedonia opened their campaign with a victory over George Burley's Scotland on Saturday.
Shumulikoski, who was winning either his 51st or 52nd full cap (Macedonia's official total disagreeing with UEFA's), played the full 90 minutes.
Elsewhere, Gareth McAuley was an unused sub as Northern Ireland drew 0-0 with the Czech Republic, while Alex Bruce was left out of the Republic of Ireland 18 as they also recorded a goalless draw in their game in Montenegro.
