McAuley and Thatcher Returning to Training - Ipswich Town News
Gareth McAuley and Ben Thatcher are due to get back into training ahead of Saturday's trip to Sheffield Wednesday. Both players have been suffering with dead legs.
Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "Both Gareth and Ben are moving forward. We expect them to resume full training on Friday and we'll see how they go from there with a view to being in consideration for the weekend."
Thatcher missed both the Reading and Southampton games, while McAuley limped off in the first half against the Royals and failed to make the trip to St Mary's.
