Richards Nets Decisive Penalty - Ipswich Town News
On-loan Town man Matt Richards netted the decisive penalty as Brighton and Hove Albion defeated Manchester City 5-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw at the Withdean Stadium.
Richards, who is with the Seagulls until January, beat Kasper Schmeichel from the spot after Michael Ball had had his kick saved by Michel Kuipers.
Meanwhile, Chris Casement finally made his debut for Hamilton Academical as they beat Motherwell 2-1 after extra-time at Fir Park in the Scottish League Cup, the on-loan Town defender picking up a yellow card as he played the full 120 minutes.
None of Town's other loan players were in action this evening.
