Manager Jim Magilton says he has already spoken with club owner Marcus Evans about January transfer targets. Reclusive Evans spent time at Portman Road and Playford Road last week and introduced himself to more people at the club.
Magilton said: "I have never had a meeting with Mr Evans when it has not ended really positively.
"He was here last week and met all the players and met all the coaches and had a really lovely lunch. We had a chat about things and had a chat about January coming up.
"It was really helpful and very supportive. The players enjoyed meeting him and it could not have gone any better.
"There are so many assumptions and speculation but he is a top bloke who wants the club to succeed.â€Â
Meanwhile, former Town defender Georges Santos, 38, has joined Blue Square North side Fleetwood Town from Farsley Celtic.
