Garvan in Irish U21 Squad for Lithuania Friendly - Ipswich Town News

Town midfielder Owen Garvan has been named in the Republic of Ireland U21 squad for a friendly in Lithuania on Tuesday, 14th October. If he plays, Garvan will win his seventh U21 cap.

The 20-year-old scored twice in the recent 2-2 draw with Portugal in Madeira. The goals can be seen here.

Last week, Garvan and fellow Blue Alex Bruce were named in a fringe Republic of Ireland senior squad playing a "challenge match" with Nottingham Forest on Thursday 9th October at Dalymount Park, Dublin.
