Sponsor Press Conference Tomorrow - Ipswich Town News
Town have called another press conference for tomorrow morning. This is likely to announce the name of the new sponsors. This morning's press conference had been thought to be for the sponsor announcement, but instead proclaimed George Burley's new contract.
A deal has been negotiated, although the identity of the company remains a mystery. NPower had been thought to be front-runners, but they have ruled themselves out. Other names touted include BT, most likely one of their new companies like BT Ignite or BT Exact, NTL, Britannia and Carling.
There is also a suggestion that Town may have two sponsors, possibly one for away and one for home. All will be revealed here in the morning.
