No Derby Day Trains - Ipswich Town News
National Express have revealed that there will be no trains running between Ipswich and Norwich on Sunday, 7th December, the day of the first East Anglian derby of the season at Carrow Road.
A statement on National Express's website reads: "Due to engineering work taking place between Ipswich and Norwich, and Liverpool Street and Stratford, Intercity Norwich to Liverpool Street services will operate between Ipswich and Stratford with buses running between Norwich and Ipswich.â€Â
The club are also expected to lay on additional coaches to make up for the lack of trains.
Earlier in the week the game switched to a 1.15pm kick-off for live Sky coverage.
