Volz Close to Return - Ipswich Town News

Right-back Moritz Volz is close to a return to first team action after his recent hamstring injury. The loanee from Fulham has missed the last two games due to the problem, which he sustained during the Carling Cup tie with Wigan.

Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "At the moment, Moritz is obviously a doubt for the weekend, but he has certainly not been ruled out yet.

"He did some very positive work this morning and we expect to step up his workload on Friday. We will then have an idea on whether he will be available for selection."
