Town's U18s did rather better than the first team this weekend, defeating Charlton 2-1 at Playford Road on Saturday morning.
Irish midfielder David Cawley put the Blues in front in the 25th minute from close range before the visitors equalised on the stroke of half-time.
Irish U17 international frontman Paul Murphy netted the winner on the hour. The U16s lost 4-0 to the same opposition.
