Beattie: I'm Innocent - Ipswich Town News
Legendary Town defender Kevin Beattie has insisted he is innocent after his arrest at the end of last week. The ex-England international was released on police bail until November 11th.
Beattie's arrest on suspicion of theft followed the disappearance of a sum of money from a house in Ipswich.
The 54-year-old said: "It is all a misunderstanding which I'm sure will soon be sorted out. I have nothing to hide.
"I want to thank my well wishers and friends for their messages of support.â€Â
