Meet The Beat in Blackpool - Ipswich Town News

The ITFC North of England Supporters Branch is holding an Evening With Kevin Beattie after the Blues' away game at Blackpool on Saturday, 8th November. Beattie is the honorary president of the Branch and a successful similar evening took place last season.

The event is being staged at the Norbreck Castle Hotel with all supporters welcome to attend whether they are members of the Branch or not.

The evening starts at 6pm in the hotel cinema where memorable moments from the club's past will be screened. That's followed by a three-course meal in a private restaurant from 7.30pm during which Kevin will reminisce on his career and the characters he has met at Ipswich.

Prior to the game there will be another chance to meet with The Beat. He will be joining the ITFC North of England Supporters AGM from 12pm to 2pm at the Norbreck. All Ipswich Town supporters are welcome to join him and ‘the North' to enjoy conversation, a drink and a finger buffet from 12.45pm.

Town chief executive Derek Bowden will also be at the lunchtime event to talk to supporters and answer questions on an informal basis.

This great value for money day starts at just £9.95 for the buffet, while the evening is only £21.95 (£5.00 and £8.50 respectively for under-15s). Numbers are restricted so you need to pre-book your place for either or both events.
