Sheepshanks and Bowden at Conference - Ipswich Town News
Town chairman David Sheepshanks and chief executive Derek Bowden are delegates at the Leaders in Football conference being held at Stamford Bridge yesterday and today.
Sheepshanks owns a stake in the conference via the Alexander Ross football consultancy he set up with former FA executive director David Davies in 2006.
The Town chairman is also reported to be keen on the job of chief executive of England's 2018 World Cup bid, while he has previously been linked with FA's chief executive role which Brian Barwick will vacate at the end of the year.
Further to the earlier story regarding Alex Bruce and his contract, talks between the club and player are reported to be starting next week.
