Ambrose Not Ruling Out Possible Return - Ipswich Town News
Former Blue Darren Ambrose is not ruling out a possible return to the Blues when his contract with Charlton is up at the end of the season. Ambrose has been linked with Town on a number of occasions and boss Jim Magilton is reported to have admitted his admiration for the 24-year-old.
Ambrose said: "It is flattering that a man like Jim would say that about me. I have played with him so he knows what kind of player I am.
"Anything can happen in the future but for the moment I'm focused on Charlton and hoping we can do well and we will see.â€Â
Ambrose, who is yet to be offered new terms by the Addicks, is entitled to speak to other clubs from January.
The midfielder left the Blues for Newcastle for £1 million in 2003 during Town's time in administration. The former England U21 international moved on to the Valley two years later for £1.5 million.
