Wickham in England U16 Squad - Ipswich Town News
Academy striker Connor Wickham has been named in the England U16 squad for the Sky Sports Victory Shield game against Wales at Llanelli on Friday, 31st October (Sky Sports One, 7.30pm).
Wickham was forced to pull out of England's 6-0 victory over Northern Ireland in the opening game due to a hip injury.
Schoolboy Wickham won four U17 caps in the summer at the Nordic Tournament in Denmark, in which England annually field an U16 squad despite the competition being for the older age group. The 15-year-old is yet to appear at U16 level.
